Principal’s Message

Belinda Fenn

At Taylor Primary School we are committed to developing the whole child, socially, emotionally, physically and academically. Our school motto is 'Experience Today, Discover Tomorrow' and visitors and new families quickly recognise the warm, caring and positive tone generated at the school.

Taylor Primary School is a unique contemporary P-6 school. The inviting atmosphere and highly collaborative school community provides a strong foundation for quality learning, innovative practices and student engagement in a wide range of areas. The student population has continued to grow and we now have enrolments of 328 students.

We highly value home/school partnerships and the support of families in the school through their involvement in classrooms, learning journeys, carnivals, assemblies, excursions, parent workshops, P&C and other school and community events.

Since commencing at Taylor I have had the pleasure of working with a highly dedicated, positive and caring team of teachers. We are proud of our students and of our school. We set high expectations for all children in their academic learning and staff are supported with ongoing professional learning to support the implementation of evidence based practices. It is expected that children at Taylor Primary display the school values of being Taylor KIDS. We are Kind, Inclusive and fair, Determined and motivated and Safe and sensible.

We look forward to the school review process in 2018, where we will reflect and celebrate successes achieved over the past five years. We then commence a new strategic plan from  2018-2022. I look forward to working with all staff, families and the wider community in providing excellent educational experiences that engage and challenge all students to continually improve their academic and social and emotional learning.

I welcome anyone who is interested in enrolling a child at Taylor Primary School to arrange a time to visit by contacting the school on (02) 6142 3000.
